checking the AC on a Trane system
Found the customers upstairs Carrier system low on R22 charge. Found a leak in the evaporator coil located in the attic. Discussed repair and replacement options.
replaced overflow drain pan underneath furnace that was leaking water.
Upstairs Goodman split AC. At arriva, found unit would not turn on. The drain pan and safety switch were both full of water. Drain line was not clogged. Ran system and found the reason for the failure is due to low refrigerant. this is causing the system to freeze over.
AC Repair Service: Upon receiving complaints of poor cooling performance, I diagnosed and corrected insufficient refrigerant charge during my inspection. Correcting the refrigerant levels was essential for optimizing system operation and performance.
Appointment scheduled this morning 730-12. Arrived at 730 and knocked and rang doorbell. Waited 20 minutes and no answer. Will have to reschedule
Lennox split AC, whole house, two zone system. Tested system at arrival and found that it was completely out of refrigerant. Filled with nitrogen and searched for leaks and found that the evaporator coil is leaking. Could audibly hear the leak. Will have to replace the evap coil. Due to age and conditions all options should be explored Will submit information to AHS for authorization of repairs.
No cool service call for the customers two zone Carrier system.
Finished up performing a detailed maintenance on the customers two Carrier systems.
